Another evening of first class stand up comedy comes to Seckford Theatre. Our headliner is the fantastic Andy Parsons.
Andy is a multi-award-winning comedian who started his career writing for Weekending and Smith and Jones, and went on to become one of the main writers on the ground-breaking Spitting Image satirical puppet show. As well as being a regular on Mock The Week for ten years, Andy has performed on numerous radio and TV shows including Live at the Apollo, QI, Saturday Live, The Stand Up Show, The Comedy Store, The PMQ Show, Scrooby Trevithick, and Parsons and Naylor’s Pull-Out Sections.
To date he has done six sell-out national tours and released four DVDs as well as releasing a podcast Slacktivist Action Group, recorded monthly at the Soho Theatre. He has also appeared on Question Time, The Daily Politics, This Week and Newsnight, and writes columns for The Independent. WCB Comedy return to their Stand up in Southwold Show on 9th September with another star headline act. Andy Parsons, star of Mock the Week and tour sell out comedian headlines another fantastic evening of comedy.
Live at the Apollo's Esther Manito will MC whilst the brilliant Duncan Oakley and Jack Gleadow completes this brilliant line up.

Andy has enjoyed huge success as a writer and performer on television, radio and the live comedy stage. As well as a series regular on the award-winning Mock The Week (BBC 2), Andy has had numerous spots on Live At The Apollo (BBC 1), QI (BBC2), The Politics Show (BBC1), Newsnight (BBC2), The World’s Most Dangerous Roads (BBC2), Comedy World Cup (Channel 4), Saturday Live (ITV) and Channel 4’s Comedy Gala At The O2. He was also one of the main writers on the original Spitting Image on ITV. 'His delivery multiplies the humour.
