About Miranda Sings
Miranda Sings is a character created by comedian and singer Colleen Ballinger. The character is from Tacoma, Washington, sings comically off-key, is self-absorbed and has a sassy attitude. She is a satire of increasingly common YouTube videos featuring mediocre or even bad singers who film themselves and who ignore the comments of 'haters'. She has over 7 million Youtube subscribers and over a billion views. The character also has unusually active eyebrows, a crooked smile, and badly applied lipstick. In place of lyrics that she cannot remember, she 'scat' sings.
