About Filthy Six
Acid Jazz signings playing original 60s/70s funky jazz, mod, and Northern Soul.
One of the most exciting Soul Jazz outfits in the UK today, and have established themselves as one of the finest live acts around. Their blistering horns, searing guitar and gut-wrenching Hammond are fuelled by a hard grooving rhythm section, producing a hip-shakingly powerful combination of jazz, funk and boogaloo in keeping with the finest traditions of the classic Blue Note sound. A great band to party and dance all night long! With Nick Etwell on trumpet, Osian Roberts on tenor sax, Nigel Price on guitar, Pete Whittaker on Hammond, Dan Drury on bass and Simon Lea on drums.
