An Evening with Richard Digance – Songs, stories and fun.
In 2025 Richard Digance will have been on the planet for 75 years, and on stage for 58 of them. If this BAFTA Nominated entertainer and a recipient of The Gold Award from The British Academy of Composers and Songwriters doesn’t have songs to sing or hilarious stories to tell then it would be a shock to one and all.
He has released 45 albums, written 24 books and composed audiobook music and songs for Bill Bryson.
On his own ITV TV show in the 1980s and 90s playing a guitar duet with Queen guitarist Brian May and joining Status Quo and The Moody Blues for cameo appearances.
Richard has made nearly 200 appearances on Channel 4s Countdown, and has worked in America with movie star Steve Martin and recalls one of his greatest moments as playing The London Palladium with Robin Williams.
2025 is a year of concerts at his favourite venues, art exhibitions and the completion of a musical about Isambard Kingdom Brunel. Join him as he reveals all with a welcome return to Comedy Hall in Tiverton.

Richard Digance has supported such stars as Steve Martin, Robin Williams and played a guitar duet with Brian May of Queen. He is also a BAFTA nominated entertainer and received The Gold Award from The British Academy of Composers and Songwriters in 2003 and is featured in The Virgin Anthology of Songwriters. It's on stage Richard is most comfortable, giving two hours of original material with just a guitar, no support acts, no gimmicks, just one man with a treasure chest of stories collected over 40 years in the music and entertainment industry.
