UK Sixties Beat Boom

It's the mid 1960's and the UK charts are swamped by the music of bands from Liverpool, Manchester and London. No longer is there a dominance of American music as in the early 1960's.

Spearheaded by the the sounds of The Beatles and The Rolling Stones, we now have our own burgeoning beat scene. There is an excitement in the air, a feeling that you can do just what you want and that the sky's your limit.

Tonight, we will be reliving the excitement of those days when things were on the change and the grey days of the 1950's were but a distant memory.
