X Factor 2012 finalist and BRITs nominee Ella Henderson isn't looking to be the usual pop balladeer or dance/electro artist many would expect from a former talent show singer. 'With my mum, we would listen to Motown, Marvin Gaye, The Shirelles, The Crystals. My brother loved reggae: Bob Marley, Musical Youth, Desmond Dekker. And the first song I ever heard as a kid was my granddad on the old record player with God Bless The Child by Billie Holiday,' says Ella. Her 2014 no.1 single Ghost and No.1 platinum album Chapter One offered a modern take on funk and soul. Then after seemingly disappearing from the music scene, she returned to the charts in 2019 to team up with Jax Jones on the UK no.9 hit 'This Is Real'.

JP Cooper
Playing a blend of folk, blues, soul and gospel; JP Cooper is an intriguing prospect amongst aspiring British singer-songwriters. Listening to him perform, either alone or with his band, bears witness to an honesty, intensity and power evoked via the simplest of orchestration. His soulfully expressive, unique vocal style, the kind that cuts through a room to hush a chattering crowd in seconds, is utterly bewitching. His unexpected vocal flights hardly prepare you for the intimacy and empathy to follow, and coupled with a clutch of sensational songs, you will find it almost impossible to believe that he has only been writing seriously for two years and performing solo for barely one.

Sigala
Sigala is the musical name of Bruce Fielder, a London-based DJ and producer. Born and raised in Norfolk, Sigala began piano as a child, and played in various bands after graduating university. He found work as a producer, and co-wrote Ella Eyre and Sigma‘s 2015 UK hit single, Good Times, before focusing on his own solo project. His first solo single, Easy Love, an energetic house tune built around a sample of the Jackson 5‘s iconic hit, ABC, released by Ministry of Sound in 2015 entered the UK singles chart at the coveted number one spot!
