Play on Words Theatre Company presents Prostitutes Marry in May

A play of passion and treachery following the dynamic journey of two amazing women; the royal queens of the Tudor/ Stewart dynasties. This acclaimed solo performance feels the power of Elizabeth I and the pain of Mary Queen of Scots. The fight for the crown takes you through the passions of this cutthroat time.

You the audience are the respective Queens subjects, sympathisers or possible enemies, witnesses to the turn of events which shaped the destiny of the Throne of England. From the prison and royal court, private chambers and public processions you journey with the cousins who called themselves ‘Sister Queens’.
