Jimmy Cricket's Big Show
Everyone's favourite Irish comedian, Jimmy Cricket, celebrates 50 years in showbiz with a big afternoon of entertainment!
Jimmy’s amazing career in comedy includes his own TV and radio series, Royal Command performances and even a Papal Knighthood, awarded for his services to charity.
He is delighted to be headlining this special show at Mansfield's home of variety, the beautiful Palace Theatre. Joining Jimmy will be our host Andy Eastwood, with his dazzling array of instruments, and from Scotland, another virtuoso musician, the remarkable, multi-talented Gordon Cree. The stunning mezzo-soprano voice of Cheryl Forbes will bring us favourite songs from stage and screen, and completing the all-star line-up is the sensational Helen Farrell, with her tribute to the great divas of the sixties!

Jimmy Cricket
Jimmy Cricket is without doubt a 1980s comedy icon. With his trademark wellington boots (on the wrong feet), his famous letters from his Mammy and his catchphrases of 'come closer' and 'there's more', he holds the hearts of all those that were original fans of his television and radio shows. Jimmy has lost none of his talent or energy and his theatre shows are as hilarious as ever, winning him new fans wherever he performs. Jimmy remains one of the few completely family friendly comedians currently on tour and has great pride in being regaled as having a truly clean act.

Andy Eastwood
Andy Eastwood has dazzled audiences worldwide with his skill on the ukulele-banjo, violin and guitar. He combines showmanship, humour and musical prowess in a fast-moving variety act that includes styles from classical to rock & roll... Andy can usually be found touring Britain's major theatres, but if not there he will be performing his one-man show in cabaret, at corporate events, or on board a luxury cruise liner. He appeared regularly as support act for the legendary comedian Ken Dodd for sixteen years, and has television, radio and film credits to his name. As a producer, Andy presents the touring variety show 'Those Were The Days' and the popular matinee series 'Midday Variety' at the Belgrade Theatre, Coventry. He also performs regularly on the ukulele festival circuit at home and abroad.
