SHOW HOLE is a club-cum-cabaret-cum-comedy night curated by BAFTA-winning creative-cum-comedian Jack Rooke. Expect national treasures doing cabaret turns, comics doing DJ sets and a chance for you to stand up straight and say to your mum, I’m going to SHOW HOLE tonight! and there’s nothing you can do about it!

Jack Rooke

Jack Rooke is a comedian, writer and regular panellist on BBC Radio 1’s The Surgery. He has presented a BBC Radio 4 comedy adaptation of Good Grief and his own BBC Three documentary about happiness.

Lolly Adefope

Leicester New Comedian Of The Year 2015 nominee. As heard on BBC Radio 4 (The Now Show, Newsjack, Fresh from the Fringe) and BBC Radio 1Xtra, and as seen on Channel 4, BBC Three and Sky Arts. Lolly Adefope sets herself apart from others by delivering her sets through the guise of a hapless comedienne called Gemma. Her alter ego is a somewhat self-indulgent 23-year-old from Preston, portrayed as she stumbles her way through her first live stand-up session and botches gags about offices, taxis and superpowers along the way. 'Promising newcomer' (The Independent) 'Tipped by everyone in the comedy industry' (Laugh Out London).
