City and Colour

City and Colour was born in 2005 when Green dropped a limited-edition acoustic EP. The raw, heartfelt tracks ignited a buzz online, with fans worldwide flooding Alexisonfire’s website, trying to get their hands on a copy. In 2005, Green officially debuted Sometimes under the moniker City and Colour which also marked the start of Dine Alone Records. The album surpassed expectations and was a critical and commercial success, winning a JUNO for Alternative Album of the Year and solidifying City and Colour’s place on the Canadian musical landscape.
