Wonderfully expressive American bluegrass musician and singer/songwriter with a honeyed voice and a beautiful, bare sound. She has been nominated for several Grammy awards, winning one, and is best known in the UK for her contribution to the soundtrack of the Coen brothers film, 'Oh Brother, Where Art Thou?'.
