Ozric Tentacles

Ozric Tentacles are, simply put, legends of the UK underground, and are now credited as an influential musical linchpin of the scene's re-emergence. "The Ozrics" layer ambient and ethereal landscapes with freeform dub trips, incredible rave grooves, and psychedelic progressive rock. Their aim is not just to make truly unique and culturally diverse music, but to harmoniously unite all in attendance, and create portals for astral travel. It's an open exploration of music and the soul!

Centered around the creative powerhouse of Steve Hillage and Miquette Giraudy, this group has been making superbly uplifting psychedelic techno and ambient music since their inception in 1990. Collaborations include The Orb and Eat Static and they are also one of the few techno groups to widely embrace the sound of the good old GEETAR. Their live show is Floydesque in its scope complete with lights, strobes, and backdrops - but no flying beds or pigs. Essentially deep and stimulating psychedelic party music, for those who know how to have a good time.
