The Hotelier

Formerly known as The Hotel Year, punk band The Hotelier formed in June 2009 when lead singer Christian Holden met Chris Hoffman, Ben Gauthier, and Sam Frederick at school in Massachusetts. The band released their debut album, "It Never Goes Out", in 2011, but received little success outside of Massachusetts. Following the change of name, The Hotelier's second album, "Home, Like Noplace Is There" (released in 2014) has been getting the band noticed in the States, with Alternative Press ranking them number seven on list of the "12 Biggest Moments of The #EmoRevival in 2014" and Leor Galil, writer for the Chicago Reader, naming it his favourite record of 2014. "...sonically, politically, and ethically, the Hotelier are punk as f**k..." - Pitchfork

Dancer

Dancer are an exciting new, but already prolific, band from Glasgow. Since 2023 they have released two EPs, an album, and a split with kindred spirits Portland Oregon’s Whisper Hiss. Their sound is often described in the realm of post-punk, but also takes influence from math rock or jangling indiepop. It encompasses jittery rhythms, searing guitar, and jaunty melodies, while lyrically covering both moving realism and absurdist comedy.
