Bloc Party
Reared on a diet of pop culture and good music, Bloc Party met through the small ads of the music press to create a band who went on to make the headlines. After a short hiatus in 2013, Kele Okereke returned refreshed in 2015 with a new line-up: original guitarist Russell Lissack joined by new recruits Justin Harris (bass) and Louise Bartle (drums) Ask them their influences, and they say they've been influenced by it all. Live, Bloc Party '...rip through new classics...like they've written them 20 minutes before the gig - the ferocity and adrenaline of youth shines through the angular rhythms and layers of effects.' (bbc.co.uk). They also play regular DJ slots up and down the country.

Jake Bugg
Jake Bugg's incredible ascent began in 2012 when his self-titled debut album entered the UK charts at number one (aged 18, making him the youngest British male artist ever to achieve this), going on to sell double platinum and get shortlisted for the UK Mercury Music Prize. And with three further UK Top 10 albums, it seems his fans have still got the bug for his music.

Clean Bandit
A classico-electronical collective. The core members Jack Patterson (bass, keyboards), Grace Chatto (cello) and Milan Neil Amin-Smith (violin) met while studying as undergraduates in Cambridge, later joined by brother Luke Patterson (drums). Their unique take on dance music sees beats collide with classical, where Baroque meets house and pop. Classing themselves as an 'electroquartet', and featuring a string of guest vocalists, they have been described as the new Disclosure with a chamberpop bent.

Echo & the Bunnymen
Eighties indie heroes whose majestic songwriting haunted a generation of bedsits and student pads. Re-formed in 1997, and still fronted by the inimitable Ian McCulloch, there's every cause to celebrate the Bunnymen's return. Their seminal albums 'Crocodiles', 'Heaven Up Here', 'Porcupine', 'Ocean Rain' & 'Echo & The Bunnymen' have all been a major influence for groups such as Coldplay, The Killers and The Flaming Lips whilst later albums 'Evergreen', 'What Are YouGoing To Do With Your Life?', ‘Siberia' & 'Meteorites' demonstrate what an amazing body of work the band have.
