The biggest Pop & Dance Festival in the North East, Kubix, is back on the 12th July at Herrington Country Park and have announced their first wave of artists joining the line up.
Making their Kubix debuts are Dance Arena headliner Darren Styles and 00’s club legends Lasgo, while the Pop Arena will welcome a whole host of 90’s and 00’s favourites for the very first time including boyband Another Level, Liberty X, Blazin Squad, Louise Redknapp & Pop Idol Gareth Gates with N-Trance returning for the first time since 2023.
Klub Kube, the festivals 3rd stage, will also return for 2025 with the line up for that stage yet to be announced.
With loads more names still to be announced, Kubix Festival 2025 promises to be the biggest line up ever with huge headline names, returning favourites and more brand new artists who have never played Kubix before still to be announced.
After selling out the last 3 years, Kubix is one of the key dates in the North East Festival Calendar.

Basshunter
Swedish born Basshunter, aka Jonas Altberg, has had a rapid climb to fame and looks set to stay at the top of the club scene. Starting off as a bedroom DJ, and being part of the initial DIY web scene, he soon found himself playing stages worldwide and selling over six million records. The award-winning DJ and producer has released four albums include the UK no.1 'Now You're Gone - The Album' and notched up a string of his all over Europe including a UK no.1 and no.2 single. In addition to his music, Basshunter was also a contestant on series 7 of Celebrity Big Brother, coming in at 4th place.

Darren Styles
After establishing himself as one of the biggest names on the hardcore scene Darren Styles has broken through into the mainstream, responsible for some of the biggest tracks on numerous scene's since he started producing records in 1993. His solo career has so far seen him release the massive club hits Save Me, Getting Better, Come Running and Girls Like You.

Shaggy
Shaggy's style of music blends reggae, dance, pop, ska and R'n'B. The lover man's smooth and tantalising lyrics won him a Grammy Award for Best Reggae Album, 'Boombastic', in 1996. He has worked with legendary producers Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis on his album, 'Hot Shots', which also features a duet with Janet Jackson entitled 'Luv Me, Luv Me'. Winner of the Best Reggae Act, Mobo Awards 2001 and Best International Male Solo Artist, Brit Awards 2002.
