The Fratellis

Glasgow trio The Fratellis had phenomenal success with their debut album 'Costello Music' entering the UK Album Chart at number 2, spawning the huge anthem 'Chelsea Dagger; and went on to win the Best British Breakthrough Act at the Brit Awards in 2007. They went on a 4-year hiatus in 2009 to pursue solo projects, but returned in 2012 and have been on the road and recording ever since, with their 6th album 'Half Drunk Under A Full Moon' released in May 2020.

Cast

Originally formed in 1992 from the ashes of two of the most legendary and lauded Liverpool guitar bands of the time, The La's and Shack, Cast are one of the most traditional guitar bands to emerge during the Brit-pop era of the mid-'90s. They carved out a sound that was heavily indebted to the British Invasion of the early '60s, yet it was infused with a mystical, pseudo-hippie lyrical sensibility. The reinvigorated Cast continue to produce new material full of the anthemic, melodic and beautifully written songs for which they have always been known for, along with a formidable live reputation. Noel Gallagher described watching the band as "a religious experience."

Sleeper

After 19 years away, Britpop band Sleeper announced their return in 2017. Fronted by singer-turned-novelist Louise Wener, the band had eight UK top 40 singles between '93-'97 including the breakthrough hit 'Inbetweener', accompanied by the classic supermarket promo video starring Dale Winton, and two top 10 singles with 'Sale Of The Century' and 'Nice Guy Eddie'. They also covered Blondie's 'Atomic' for the original Trainspotting film. As T2 hit cinema screens in 2017, Louise thought 'what do I do now?' and decided to reform the band.
