Jazz Upfront jazz club @ The 12th Century St Mary’s Church Aylesbury which is tucked away down a quiet side street behind Kingshead with it’s large, open space & wonderful acoustics has now developed a strong profile on UK’s jazz scene and is now well known for its consistently exciting programming. It was founded in 2015 by Jazz Promoter Frank Wormald.
St Mary’s has become a must-visit spot for jazz lovers in the area and beyond.. and for good reason. It’s played host to some of the most iconic names in the modern jazz scene and continues to do so, while also putting a focus on rising stars of the genre. Legends of Jazz Upfront
James Pearson is a pianist, composer and creative tour de force and the Artistic Director at Ronnie Scotts Jazz Club. Returning to Jazz Upfront with his Sextet of Jazz Legends, featuring the amazing vocals of Sara Oschlag.

The Andrew Wood Trio
The Andrew Wood Trio is an exciting and innovative ensemble, blending tradition with a modern touch. Fronted by the talented drummer Andrew "Woody" Wood, the trio is known for its rich musicality and seamlessly playful interplay between the band on stage. Expect to hear a varied program of jazz repertoire drawing on inspirations of Ahmad Jamal Trio, Oscar Peterson, Bill Evans with a healthy portion of humour and joy.
